Welcome to a Stitch at a Time
Specializing in long arm quilting to help you complete your
quilt in a unique way.
Quilters enjoy picking out the fabric and the design for each
and every quilt they work on. The hardest part is the finishing and getting on
the bed.
That's where I come in I make it easy to do the tops by sandwiching the top,
batting and the back together and quilting over the thing in a design. I also
make quilts from scratch for people who can't sew but want to have that homemade
quilt.
Who Am I:
Karen Bergeron, the Owner and Creator of A Stitch at a Time. I have been sewing since I was 10 years old.
Over all those years I
have sewn everything from living room curtains to clothes to boat cushions. I
have been quilting for about 14 years and long arm quilting for 9 years. Through
all those years of quilting I have designed and sewn many gorgeous quilts for
family and friends
I teach a night school quilting class through Adult Education as well as many
classes from my home. To enhance my abilities I have taken many different classes
including quilting classes from area shops and long arm quilting classes. I am
always looking for ways to help a quilter make their quilt even better. I reside
in Meriden, CT with my husband and three children.
